The Falkirk Kelpies loom large along the M9 in Helix Park. These 30-metre high horses head sculptures were completed in October 2013 and sit in a new area of parkland called The Helix, and are the gateway to the Forth & Clyde Canal - with a lock between them. As the colours rotates and change these are certainly impressive structures, and somewhat of a shock to see them at speed on the M9 looming over the hedge! The sheer scale of the sculptures is shown by the people ghosting at the base.
Scored 17/20 in the BCC POTY 2016 R3 - Open.
