The Silver Jubilee Bridge
First stop on my journey north to Gleneagles and the Runcorn Bridge - an open arch bridge alongside a much older railway bridge. This was also at one point the site of a transporter bridge, now long gone although some of the buildings on this side of the river still exist. First experiments with the Lee filters, mixed results here at best because I hadn't quite figured out how to use them at that point! Also realised just how quick the River Mersey tide comes in, this was basically mudflats 20mins before this picture was taken, I suspect that the fast moving water stopped the reflections from being so sharp. Hey ho.
